VIOLIN 25 $600
This instrument, the fifth that I built, was completed in 1985. It is patterned after the Betts Stradivarius.
The front is two piece split European Spruce and the back is 2 piece European maple.
Very responsive and easily played, it would be ideal for an intermediate student.
Several violins in this price arrange are available.
VIOLIN 15 $2,500
Completed in 2009 inspired by the Betts Stradivarius violin. Top is 2 piece Engleman Spruce and back is single piece big leaf maple.
Has a very open tone and is more bright than some violins.
Tied for fifth place in the first round tone score at the 2009 VMAAI competition.
VIOLA 16 $3,500

The top is two piece Engleman Spruce and the back is two piece Big Leaf Maple.
Has a very large tone for a viola this size. Placed second overall for violas up to 16” at the VMAAI 2009 competition.

Completed in 2010, the outline and arching are based on the Betts violin.
A Engleman Spruce top with medium light varnish and a big leaf maple back with a medium flame.
This violin has a relatively mellow tone that is even across the strings.
VIOLIN 19 $3,000
Completed in 2010, thie outline and arching of this violin are similar to the Titian Stradivarius violin.
The top varnish shows the grain with some highlights. It has a single piece back with medium flame.
The tone is unusually even across the strings, fairly bright and very powerful.
