The 15-½” viola is finished in the white.  It sits next to a violin for size comparison.

A primer coat has been applied and viola will get a nice tan color from being exposed to the sun.  The temporarily glued fingerboard has been removed to make varnishing easier.

The viola dries in the sun after each coat of varnish is applied.
